Wildcat

Today, I am featuring Wildcat. A simple superhero alot of people may not know.
Wildcat

Wildcat, aka Ted Grant, was granted nine lives at some point in his life. He is a world-class boxer and keeps himself in peak physical condition. He has also trained Batman, Black Canary and even Superman in the art of boxing. He was a member of the Justice League and retired to be a boxing trainer, also teaching other fighting styles. He has been known to knockout even experienced fighters with a single punch.

Always ready for a fight

Wildcat is one of the four original members of the Justice Society of America.  He was one of the many combat instructors sought by a young Bruce Young. He also mentored Black Canary, teaching her a style of boxing suited for her body size. He is always willing to train, or spar, with anyone. He never turns down a fight. During his travels, he has been forced to fight Batman which ended on a draw to my knowledge. They have also worked together on many occasions.

Someone looks rough...

Ted Grant also has a god-daughter and a son. When Wildcat was injured, his god-daughter took over the costume and joined Infinity Inc. She helped save the world, and get revenge for what happened to her family, but it led to her eventual death by the hands of Eclipso. Ted Grants son, Tom Bronson, never knew his father. It wasnt that Ted didnt want to be in his sons life, it was to protect his son, that is until Vandal Savage tried to kill every member of the Justice Society of Americas children and anyone related to them. Tom was named the new Wildcat by his father, when Tom saved himself and his father from Vandal Savage.

I want one...
Wildcat has appeared on different tv shows, helping the Justice League in Justice League Unlimited and also helping Batman in Batman: The Brave and The Bold. He made an appearance on Smallville, nothing too note worthy, but mainly just stays in the comics. Wildcat is a nice simple and yet very awesome superhero.  Thanks for reading :)

B'wana Beast

I have decided to begin a blog about different superheroes and supervillains from over the many years of comics. There have been so many weird, strange and just plain cool characters from comics.

Needs some more clothes....

This first post is about a superhero named B'wana Beast. He was created back in the late 60's and appeared in only 2 comics, until he appeared in DC comics helping members of the Justice League in the mid 80's. His real name is Mike Maxwell. His powers come from his helmet and an elixir which gives him the ability to control the minds of animals, and the ability to, and this is awesome!, combine 2 animals into 1 weird creepy looking animal. As he says it "I take the best of 2 things and create one unstoppable force." I discovered B'wana Beast on the tv show Batman: The Brave and The Bold, where he combined a horse and a spider to create the scariest looking animal I have ever seen.
Spider-horse....horse-spider.....sporser....horpider....
After years of being B'wana Beast, Mike Maxell stepped down, naming Freedom Beast as his successor. I know nothing about Freedom Beast, but he is probably just like B'wana Beast since he is his successor. Mike Maxwell wound up possessed by an evil entity named Antagon, becoming a villain named Shining Man and eventually meeting his unfortunate death.

He is pretty cool...

I hope this has been informative and enlightening. I will be posting every 1 to 2 days with different information on different comic book characters, DC and Marvel alike. Thank you for reading :)
